If the QR code on your Walmart receipt will not scan, it is usually due to a printing issue.
You can easily bypass scanning the QR code by taking pictures of the receipt.
When you are on the screen that is attempting to scan the QR Code, tap the button at the bottom of the screen that says, "No QR Code. Take photo instead". Please take clear pictures of your receipt and ensure that the sides of the receipt are aligned with the viewer in the app.
After taking pictures of your receipt, select your offers, adjust their quantities if necessary, scan any barcodes, and tap Collect Purchases. We will review your receipt within 48 hours.
NOTE: We do not accept e-receipts, including Walmart Pay and Walmart Pick-Up, at this time. We are working on this option for the future. In the meantime, feel free to request a printed Point-of-Sale receipt from the cashier at check-out. You can then submit the physical receipt to Ibotta.
