Ibotta stocks your offer list with a variety of both in-store and online savings, for every type of shopper. Be sure to always check out your offer details before shopping—most offers are specifically redeemable either in-store or online, but oftentimes not both. As a rule of thumb, only physical receipts (printed on your store’s POS system) can be submitted for in-store credit. Ibotta does not accept e-receipts or pick-up receipts for in-store credit. In-store offers can be submitted by sending us a picture of your physical receipt (printed on your store’s POS system). This method gives you the flexibility to add offers before or after you shop, and up to 7 days after shopping to submit your receipt for credit.
Alternatively, you can link your store loyalty card before shopping in-store. When shopping using this method, all offers that you’re shopping to receive credit for must be added to your list prior to checking out.
Always start within your Ibotta app when online shopping. Locate the offer you’d like to redeem, then launch into the retailer website through the Ibotta app and shop.
