With the holidays upon us, Ibotta knows that our users will be spending and saving money this season. However, there may be an increase in traffic to our app resulting in some delays. Here's a little information on how your information may be delayed and the expected delay increase.
We hope that you will take advantage of the mobile shopping offers that Ibotta has garnered for you this season. While most purchases will post to your account as pending within 24-72 hours, there may be a delay during high traffic times, that will affect this time period.
Delay Expectation: 1-5 days from the date of purchase, depending on the retailer
Note: Please keep in mind that it may also affect retailers such as Amazon and the delay will be added to the date of shipment.
Loyalty Card Purchases
We love getting cash back on our groceries just as much as you do. During normal traffic times, loyalty card purchases can take up to 48 hours to post to your account and credit you with offers and bonuses. We expect a moderate delay from our loyalty retailers during high purchase weekends. If you do not see your purchase after the period below, please write our Care Team with images of your receipt.
Delay Expectation: 48-72 hours from the date of purchase
Picture Receipt Submissions
In most cases, receipt picture submissions are only slightly affected during high traffic times. If your purchase is pending and you have not received credit outside of the 72 hours, we ask that you grant us one more day for our system to finish reviewing your receipt. Please write us if your receipt is still pending after 4 or more days from the date of purchase.

Contacting the Care Team (Support)
We hope that you do not have to contact us, but we are here for you when you do. We try our best to answer all requests within 48 hours. If there is a delay in communication, you do not need to create a new request for support and our Team will reach back out to you as soon as possible.
Delay Expectation: Up to 3-5 days from the date of the initial request
Note: Mobile shopping support requests may take 4-6 days for a reply from our Team due to the amount of research required to investigate your purchase. Please provide as much information about your purchase, such as complete confirmation emails, in order to expedite your request for support.
