Not to worry! Here are some troubleshooting steps to get your payment account linked to your Ibotta account.
- Did you enter your Ibotta password correctly?
- Be sure that you are using the correct Ibotta password in order to link your account. [Remember, when linking a payment account, it will ask for your Ibotta password.]
- You can change your password from the Log In screen.
- Do you have the correct payment account information?
- PayPal some times requires a middle initial next to your first name if that is how it is displayed in PayPal.
- Do you have the correct email address?
- Check the spelling of your email address to ensure that you have entered the correct information.
- Are you having connectivity issues?
- If the app is timing out or continuously loading, try again in an hour or so.
