There could be a few reasons you are unable to connect your PayPal or Venmo to your Ibotta account:
- When linking your PayPal or Venmo account and it asks for your password, make sure you enter your Ibotta password.
- It may be that the name isn't being entered exactly as it is entered on PayPal or Venmo. If you have a middle initial in your PayPal or Venmo account be sure to put the middle initial in the last name slot in front of the last name, i.e. "M. Doe."
- If your PayPal or Venmo account is already linked to two different Ibotta accounts, you will not be able to link the same account to a third Ibotta account.
- If you are receiving a message stating "Error: Account is locked" when trying to connect a payment account or withdraw cash, please contact our Care Team by submitting a request form.
