Online shopping purchases will be placed in a pending period for varying amounts of time.
The pending period allows Ibotta to verify your purchase with the retailer and abide by their return or processing period.
Check the offer details to see how long purchases from your retailer are supposed to be pending. Please keep in mind that the details are usually "Up to X days from the date of purchase". Your purchase may post early or right on time.
When looking at your earnings details, note that the Average Pending Period listed tells you how much time you have remaining before your account is updated.
If your purchase is pending longer than it is supposed to, wait another 24 hours to see if the purchase posts. If it does not post, please write our Online Care Team by submitting a request. Please include screenshots or a PDF file of your entire confirmation email.
