If you are seeing your name as “first_name" and "last_name” under Account within the Ibotta app or on the website, it is because you have exercised your right to be forgotten (also known as the right to deletion) under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
- All emails sent from Ibotta will be addressed to “first_name" if this is the name listed on your Account page.
- You can always update your name by following these steps:
- Tap on Account in the navigation bar
- Select Settings, then Update Profile
- Enter your desired first and last name
