How do I earn cash back for my Grocery pickup & delivery purchases?

You can earn cash back on your Grocery pickup & delivery purchases from your phone or your computer. Featured retailers include Walmart, Safeway, and more!

1. Find a supported Grocery pickup & delivery retailer

Go to the Grocery pickup & delivery category within the app or the web experience, and select one of the participating retailers where you plan to make your Grocery pickup & delivery purchase. Be sure to select the “Grocery pickup & delivery” category to narrow down the specific retailers that are eligible within this category.

2. Sign in to your grocery or delivery account

• Select “Link account” and follow the steps to link your grocery or delivery service account to Ibotta. If you don’t have an account, select “Create new account” on the retailer page to create one first.
  
  
• Please, make sure to allow Ibotta to receive purchase history by shifting the “Share purchase history?” toggle to the right when linking your account.

3. Browse offers and add them to Your List

• Once successfully linked, browse hundreds of offers available under the retailer page and add them to Your List.
  
  
• Please, make sure to add offers from the retailer page listed under the Grocery pickup & delivery category.

4. Shop and checkout

1. • Once you’ve added offers to Your List, you’re ready to shop for and earn cash back on your Grocery pickup & delivery purchase.
     
     

5. Get your cash back

1. • Cash back will be added to your earnings within 72 hours (3 days) after you receive your order. Check your order status for updates.
     
     

Tips for earning cash back:

• Remember to add (+) offers you wish to redeem to Your List before shopping. Offers added after your shopping trip may not be eligible for cash back on that shopping trip.
• You will only earn cash back for offers added under the retailer gallery that are listed within the Grocery pickup & delivery category.
• You must make your Grocery pickup & delivery purchase with the same grocery or delivery account linked to your Ibotta account.
• The email address on your retailer account does not need to match your Ibotta account email address.
• Multiple Savers cannot link the same retailer account. Only one unique account can be used for a single Ibotta account.
  
  

What is the "Recent purchases" section for?

If you've recently shopped with Ibotta, you may have seen your transaction appear under a new section in Earnings, titled Recent purchases.

If you missed adding an offer before shopping with a loyalty account, you may be alerted that you still have 24 hours to add the offer for cash back. By tapping the transaction, you have the opportunity to add eligible offers you may have missed before checkout.
