How to get the Ibotta mobile Safari extension
To get started, enable the Ibotta mobile Safari extension here. Scan the QR code with your iOS device and follow the instructions.
The Ibotta mobile Safari extension is only available on iOS devices.

Turn on Ibotta to enable the Ibotta mobile Safari extension, the toggle should be green. |

After you enable the extension, tap Already enabled? Skip to the next step >. |
Give Ibotta permission to show you offers while you shop. Tap Review. |
Tap Always Allow. |

Tap Always Allow on Every Website. This is an important step, if you do not tap on this option, the Ibotta mobile Safari extension won’t be able to let you know when offers are while you’re browsing websites. |
If you accidentally selected the wrong option or don’t see the Review button, tap Don’t see a review button? at the bottom of this page. |
Tap the puzzle icon. Tap the Ibotta extension. Tap Always allow then Always Allow on Every Website. |
How to earn cash back
- Enable the Ibotta mobile Safari extension and visit your favorite stores online using your mobile Safari browser.
- If an offer is available at the retailer you’re browsing, the Ibotta Safari browser extension will pop up letting you know. Be sure you’re logged in to your Ibotta account before you start shopping by tapping Log in to Activate.
- After you log in, tap Activate, review the offer details and exclusions by tapping See all offer details, shop, and check out like normal.
- Earnings from eligible purchases will be added to your account once the pending period is complete.

Q: Is there an extension available for Android devices?
A: A mobile extension is not currently available for Android devices or other browsers. The Ibotta mobile Safari extension is currently only available for iOS devices using Safari. We apologize for any inconvenience. Keep an eye out for additional updates about the browser extension!
Q: Is there a minimum iOS device version required to enable the Ibotta mobile Safari extension?
A: Yes, please ensure your Ibotta app is on version 6.202.0 before enabling it.
Q: What if I forget to allow the Ibotta mobile Safari extension to always work on every website?
A: If you accidentally selected the wrong option or don’t see the Review button, tap Don’t see a review button? at the bottom of this page. Then, tap the puzzle icon, tap the Ibotta extension, and tap Always allow then Always Allow on Every Website.

A: If the Ibotta mobile Safari extension isn’t showing you some offers that are available in the Ibotta app, please launch your shopping trip through the app to earn cash back.
