How do I delete my Ibotta account on my Apple Device?

Here's what happens after you delete your Ibotta account

When you delete your Ibotta account, it will be deactivated, you'll be logged out, and your data will be erased. Any earnings or pending transactions will be lost, and you'll no longer be able to access your Ibotta account. Please note that once you request data deletion, we can't recover your earnings or reactivate your account.

 

Here's how to delete your Ibotta account

To delete your account on an Apple device, follow the steps outlined below.

If you have a supported Apple device*, you can delete your Ibotta account through the app. All you need to do is:

  1. Tap the Profile dropdown menu at the top left Home page.
  2. Tap Settings
  3. From here you should see Delete account. Tap this to delete your Ibotta account.
  4. A window will pop up asking you to confirm the permanent deletion of your account.
  5. To confirm and move forward with deleting your account, type "DELETE" in all caps, and then tap DELETE.
  6. Your account will be permanently deleted, and you'll be logged out.
