What is the Dynamic Island?

Dynamic Island is a new feature that allows you to view your Ibotta app tasks at a glance, a compact tool that gives you faster access to the features you need!

What is it?

Now, all Savers on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, can check Ibotta alerts and current activity in progress—such as Your list of unlocked offers, quick access to receipt scan, and the Retailer and Redeem pages.

These features are all in the Dynamic Island on your device's home screen and lock screen notifications.

Please be sure your device is running on iOS version 16.1+ to see this new feature!

 

How do I use it?

First, ensure that your iPhone is running on iOS version 16.1+. After your device is running on an updated iOS version, you can use the Dynamic Island by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to a Retailer page in the app
  2. Tap Start shopping trip
  3. This will launch Dynamic Island and give you quick access to Ibotta features, even after you leave the app
  4. Quickly access barcode scanning, Your list, and more while you shop
  5. You can use these features from your device's lock screen or the Dynamic Island
  6. You can end a shopping trip by navigating back to the Retailer page and tapping End shopping trip 
  7. You can also close the Ibotta app to end the shopping trip

What if I don't have an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max?

If you don't have an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max, you're still in luck!

You will still be able to see your Ibotta app activities live on your device's locked notifications screen if you are running on iOS 16.1+.
