If you need to change the email address on your account to make sure you receive emails from Ibotta, you can only change it on the mobile app at this time. To change the email address on your Ibotta account, you must have access to the old email address and the new email address. If you no longer use your old email address, follow steps 1-6 to change your email address, then proceed with the next section.
How to change your email address on your Ibotta account:
- Open the Ibotta mobile app.
- Tap the Profile dropdown menu on the top left corner of the home page.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Update Profile.
- Tap on your email address and enter your new email address.
- Tap Save.
- You will receive a confirmation email to the old email address that will complete the change.
- Once you have completed the change, you can log out and log back in using the new address.
If you do not have access to your old email address, please follow these additional steps:
- Complete the steps 1-6 above.
- Submit a request to our Care Team.
- Include the following information in the request to verify your Ibotta account:
- First name
- Date of birth
- Any email addresses associated with your Ibotta account(s)
- The last 4 digits of the phone number associated with your Ibotta account
