Changing the email address on your account keeps your account up to date and makes sure that you receive our messages.
To change the email address on your Ibotta account, you must have access to both accounts, new and old. If you no longer use your old email address, start the process below (until step 5) and then proceed to the lower portion of this article.
Follow these steps:
- Tap Account on the Navigation Bar.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Update Profile.
- Tap on your email address and make any necessary changes.
- Tap Save.
- You will receive a confirmation email to the old email address that will complete the change.
- Once you have completed the change, you can log out and log back in using the new address.
If you do not have access to your old email address, please follow these steps:
- Complete the steps above, up until step 5.
- Write the Care Team.
- Provide the following information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Zip code
- Last three receipts submitted (name of the retailer)
- Email address you would like associated with your account.
- Our Team will verify the information within your account and update your email address.
- If you are not already logged out, please log out of your account. You will be able to log in using your new email address.
