The most common reason a Saver can’t take pictures of their receipt is that Ibotta has restricted access to the user’s camera. Follow the steps below to adjust your settings on your device and grant Ibotta access to your camera.
For iOS Users:
Go to your device Settings.
Scroll down and tap Apps, then find and tap Ibotta.
Enable the toggle next to “Camera” to ensure camera permissions are turned on.
For Android Users:
Go to your device Settings.
Scroll down and tap Application Manager.
Tap Ibotta.
Tap Permissions and Camera and make sure your camera permissions are turned on.
