- Refresh app performance
- Check for network blockers (Eero, VPNs, & Ad-Blockers)
1. Reset your internet connection
To use the Ibotta app, you'll need a compatible device and an internet connection.
- If you're on Cellular Data: Try switching to a Wi-Fi connection.

If you're on Wi-Fi: Try toggling Wi-Fi off to use your cellular data.
2. Refresh app performance
Occasionally, other apps running in the background can interfere with Ibotta’s performance.
- Close Background Apps: Force-close any apps you aren't currently using.

Clear Your Cache: Go to your device settings to clear the Ibotta app cache.
3. Check for network blockers (Eero, VPNs, & Ad-Blockers)
If the app works on cellular data but not on your home Wi-Fi, your router or security settings might be blocking the Ibotta servers.
- VPNs: If you use a VPN, try disabling it temporarily.
- Network Ad-Blockers: Services like Eero+, Pi-hole, or AdGuard may block the secure domains Ibotta needs to verify offers.
To access Ibotta with a network blocker, you'll need to "Whitelist" or "Allow" "ibotta.com" within your service's settings.
