Welcome bonuses are introductory bonuses that Ibotta offers to new Savers who join Ibotta for the first time. A Welcome bonus is different from a referral bonus.
Check the Bonuses page of your Ibotta app to view your specific bonus details and requirements, as bonuses change regularly.
Here's what you need to qualify:

You must be a brand new Saver to Ibotta. This means you must have never had an Ibotta account before. Please note that creating multiple accounts with Ibotta will result in account deactivation.

You must be the only Ibotta account on your device. This means you cannot share your device with another Saver, the Saver that referred you, or have a second account with Ibotta. Sharing a device with another Saver will disqualify you from receiving the Welcome bonus.
- You'll need to redeem offers. To qualify for a Welcome bonus, a new Saver must redeem offers as described in the Welcome bonus details. For additional information on how to look up specific bonus details, see What is a bonus?
How to track your bonus progress:
When you work towards a bonus, your progress will update and can be tracked on your Bonuses page under In progress. Once you complete a bonus, you will earn the cash back and the bonus will move to Completed.
Please be aware that a Welcome bonus may be subject to a pending period if you redeemed offers in the Online shopping category.
