What is Ibotta Arcade?
Ibotta now lets you earn cash back rewards for playing mobile games. Browse featured games in the Arcade section of the app, play them, and get rewarded — no receipt required!
How it works
- Tap Arcade from the navigation bar in your app — if you don't see it there, find it on the Earn more tab.
- Tap Play now and review the Privacy and Data sharing. Tap Agree and continue.
- Browse the available games and tap Earn to play.
- You’ll be taken to the app store to download the game. Once installed, your progress is tracked automatically.
- Games already downloaded on your device won’t be eligible to earn Arcade Rewards. Devices using VPN or iCloud Private Relay enabled are ineligible for Arcade Rewards.
- Meet the reward requirements by installing a new game through the Ibotta Arcade and completing specified tasks.

How to check your gaming status
- Open the Ibotta Arcade.
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Tap Reward Status.
- Find the game in question to see whether it’s being tracked, along with current progress and earned rewards.
When to expect your rewards
Milestone rewards will be awarded after you complete the in-game requirement, generally within 24 hours. If you’ve met all the requirements and it’s been more than 24 hours, we recommend you reach out to the gaming support team directly.
Important: If the featured game has ever been previously installed on your device, you won't be eligible to earn Arcade Rewards for that game.

Ibotta Arcade is powered by our partner, Unity (Tapjoy). Their support team has full access to your gaming reward details, installation data, and reward history — and they’re best equipped to help with missing rewards or technical issues.
To reach Unity support directly from the app:
- Open Ibotta Arcade.
- From Unity’s mobile browser, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Tap Reward Status.
- Tap the game reward in question.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose the date and levels in question.
- Tap Contact Support.
- Tap on the issue to start a chat.

FAQs
Q: Can I get rewards for a game I already play?
A: Unfortunately, no. If the featured game has ever been previously installed on your device, you won't be eligible to earn Arcade Rewards for that game.
Q: What are Milestone Rewards?
A: Some rewards require specific in-game milestones — read the offer details before you start. Milestone-based rewards may take up to 30 days to complete.
Q: Do gaming rewards count toward my Ibotta bonuses?
A: No, Arcade Rewards is a separate type of reward and doesn’t count toward Ibotta bonus progression.
Q: I don’t see the Arcade tab in my app
A: Ibotta Arcade is currently available to a limited number of users while we test the feature. Make sure you have the latest version of the Ibotta app installed. If you’re still not seeing it, you may not be in the current test group — we’re rolling it out gradually.
Q: Why aren’t my rewards tracking?
A: If you're having trouble seeing gaming offers or didn't receive cash back for a completed offer, an active VPN or iCloud Private Relay on your device may be the cause. Gaming offers require a direct device connection to verify eligibility and track completions. VPNs and iCloud Private Relay mask your device's network identity. This can prevent offers from loading or cause your progress to be misattributed, even if you have completed all the required milestones. Try turning off your VPN and toggling off Private Relay on your Apple devices.
Q: Why can’t I withdraw my rewards?
A: Gaming cash back adds to your Ibotta account balance, but it won't satisfy the withdrawal requirement alone if you are new to Ibotta. To withdraw, you'll still need to either redeem an offer or purchase a gift card through the app. Once you've met that requirement, your full balance — including any Arcade earnings — will be available to withdraw.
