You can change your password through the app or on the website.
To reset, change, or create your password:
- Log out of the app if you have not done so already. To log out, tap Account on the navigation bar, tap Settings, then tap Log out in the top right corner.
- If you are changing your password on a desktop or laptop, go to the login page, click Forgot password?, and enter your email address. Then proceed to Step 3.
- If you do not receive the email to reset your password within 20 minutes of requesting the email, please contact our Care Team at email@example.com for assistance. There may be a block or hold on your email address that we will need to clear for you.
Note: If you initially set up your Ibotta account with Facebook, you may not have an Ibotta password yet and might need to create one. We recommend updating your email address before changing the password and confirming your account. You can learn more about updating your email address here.
