When you are ready to withdraw your earnings, you will be prompted to add a phone number to your Ibotta account. When logging in, your verification code can also be sent via SMS if you have a verified phone number.
In both cases, Ibotta will send you a text or give you a call with a verification code that you will use to verify your phone number in the app.
If you are not receiving the verification code, try troubleshooting with the tips below:
If you are entering a phone number for the first time...

Try entering the phone number again. The number entered might have been mistyped, so be sure that it is typed correctly when you re-enter it.
- Enter a phone number from a primary provider or landline. Ibotta does not guarantee support from third-party providers such as What’s App, Google Voice, etc.
If you are using a phone number that you have already verified…

Ensure that the number is accessible, that texts are enabled on your device and plan, and the number can receive calls (applicable to landlines only). If the number is disconnected or busy, you may not be able to receive a verification code.
- Tap "Resend", "get a call", or "Try another method" on the authentication screen. Resending the text can help if you accidentally delete your code, and if resending the text doesn't work, you can request a phone call or email with a new code.
If you have tried all of the options above and the number is still having trouble receiving the verification code after 5-10 minutes, please submit a request to our Care Team for assistance.
