If your earnings withdrawal to PayPal automatically failed, and you have confirmed that your PayPal account is already verified through PayPal, try the following process to see if it resolves the issue and allows you to successfully withdraw your earnings to PayPal.
First, disconnect your PayPal account from your Ibotta account:

If you are an iOS user
- tap your earnings, located at the top right of the homepage.

then tap the teal withdraw earnings button
- if you do not have enough earnings to withdraw, this button may indicate "reach $20 to withdraw earnings" instead
- scroll down to the PayPal section
- swipe your finger across the PayPal account and click the prompted delete button.

If you are an Android user
- on the home page in the Ibotta app, tap Profile in the dropdown menu on the top left of the home page.

then tap the teal Withdraw button
- if you do not have enough earnings to withdraw, this button may indicate "reach $20 to withdraw earnings" instead
- scroll down to the PayPal section
- hold your finger down on the account and select the prompted delete button.
Once you have disconnected your PayPal account, complete a refresh of your device and the app:
- Force close the app.
- Completely restart your device.
- Update to the latest version of the app.
Finally, to reconnect your PayPal, tap on Link Account on the same page you removed the PayPal account from. You will be directed to PayPal to log in with your PayPal account. Once you have reconnected your PayPal, try to successfully withdraw your earnings once more.
