We have updated our PayPal partnership and you may have experienced some errors when attempting to withdraw your earnings to PayPal.
If your earnings withdrawal to PayPal was automatically failed, and you have confirmed that your PayPal account is already verified through PayPal, try the following process to see if it resolves the issue and allows you to successfully withdraw your earnings to PayPal.
First, disconnect your PayPal account from your Ibotta account:
- If you are an iOS user, swipe your finger across the account and click the prompted “delete” button.
- If you are an Android user, hold your finger down on the account and select the prompted “delete” button.
Once you have disconnected your PayPal account, complete a refresh of your device and the app:
- Force close the app.
- Completely restart your device.
- Update to the latest version of the app.
Finally, to reconnect your PayPal, tap on “Link Account”. You will be directed to PayPal to log in with your PayPal account. Once you have reconnected your PayPal, try to successfully withdraw your earnings once more.
