How to shop

For in-store or online grocery offers, navigate to the CVS Pharmacy retailer and add (+) offers to Your list prior to shopping.

For in-store purchases, use your ExtraCare account when you checkout.
For online, or grocery pickup & delivery purchases, ensure you’re logged into your linked CVS ExtraCare account before completing your purchase.
4. Get cash back
Product offer cash back will be added to your account within one hour of receiving your grocery pickup & delivery purchase, or within one hour of in-store checkout!
Additionally, bonus cash back will be earned according to the time your order was placed or completed. You can check your order status for any delivery updates.
FAQ & Troubleshooting
Q: Can I still submit my printed in-store receipt?
A: No. Once your CVS ExtraCare account is successfully linked to Ibotta, the option to upload a receipt goes away.
Q: Where is my verification email?
A: If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check your spam and promotions folders. The email link will be active for 24 hours.
Q: Can I earn cash back at a CVS Pharmacy located inside a Target store?
A: Yes, just be sure to add offers to Your list before completing your purchase to earn cash back on eligible items.
Q: Can I link my CVS ExtraCare account to more than one Ibotta account?
A: Unfortunately, only one CVS ExtraCare account can be linked to one Ibotta account at a time. If your account is currently linked to another Ibotta account, you can unlink and then re-link your to your desired Ibotta account, or create a new CVS ExtraCare account and link to your desired Ibotta account.
Q: My account shows that it's linked, but I'm not seeing cash back on my purchases.
A: Please verify that you met the following criteria:
- Your CVS ExtraCare account was linked prior to the purchase, not after.
- If you went shopping in-store, you used your CVS ExtraCare account at checkout.
- If you went shopping online, you were logged into your linked CVS ExtraCare account when you placed the order.
