How do I link my loyalty account?

Connecting your loyalty account allows Ibotta to receive an electronic submission of your receipt which we automatically review for cash back.

Ibotta provides loyalty linking options for both In-store and Grocery pickup & delivery depending on the retailer. Check to see if your favorite loyalty retailer is an Ibotta partner: 

  1. In the app, search for the retailer on the Home page
  2. Tap the retailer
  3. If you see Link account at the top of the retailer page, then the retailer allows for loyalty accounts to be linked

How do I link my loyalty account with Ibotta?

If you have an existing loyalty account, follow these steps:

  1. From the top of the retailer page, tap Link account.
  2. Input the requested login information.
    • You may be prompted to enter your retailer's loyalty account credentials, account number, or ensure a payment method is saved to your retailer loyalty account.
  3. If prompted, review the Terms & Conditions and tap I Agree.
  4. A notification will appear showing that your account has been successfully linked.
  5. Tap Done.

What if I don't have a loyalty account?

If you have not created a loyalty account with the retailer yet, follow these steps:
  1. After tapping Link account, tap Create [Retailer] Account.
  2. Input the requested information on the retailer's web page and select Create [Retailer] Account (some retailers may require an email confirmation to finalize your account setup, so be sure to check your email).
  3. Once you're back in the Ibotta app, enter the requested login information.
    • You may be prompted to enter your retailer's loyalty account credentials, account number, or ensure a payment method is saved to your retailer loyalty account.
  4. If prompted, review the Terms & Conditions and tap I Agree.
  5. A notification will appear showing that your account has been successfully linked.
  6. Tap Done.

How do I redeem offers with a loyalty account?

In order to redeem offers using a loyalty account, you must add (+) all offers to Your list prior to shopping. For in-store purchases, make sure you scan your loyalty card or enter your phone number connected to your loyalty account at checkout in order to receive automatic cash back. That's right, no receipt submission is required!
